A Brooklyn Home Transformed: Minda Baez’s Stunning Kitchen Design

Our collaboration is meant to spotlight local talent that have worked together with AjMadison to bring their expertly crafted kitchen designs to life.
Through our Brooklyn showroom, we had the privilege of working with Minda Baez. Since 1995, Minda and her team at Signature Designs have worked in close collaboration with their clients to create breathtaking high-end kitchen designs and cabinetry, private residences, luxury multi-unit buildings and commercial property designs. Working hand-in-hand with AjMadison, she lent her professional flair to a new build in the heart of Brooklyn, creating an innovative and inviting kosher kitchen for a busy Brooklyn family.
Cutting Edge Assets
When looking for innovation in Minda’s kitchen design, one only has to look at the cooking suite supplied by Wolf and SHARP featuring a double oven range, insert hood, and drawer microwave. With two ovens, appetizer trays and main courses can be prepared simultaneously – a lifesaver for those rushing to finish cooking dinner before Shabbat begins. Two industrial-grade convection fans and several 15,000-BTU power burners can heat up a kitchen quickly, which is why Minda included an insert hood capable of up to 1,500 CFM to always keep things cool! Within a stainless steel canopy, this hood matches the Wolf range to create a distinguished, pro-style cooking space for her clients. Finally, two SHARP microwave drawers with tilting control panels make it easy for family members to reheat leftovers or prepare small dishes without getting in the way of the family chef.
Adding panel-ready appliances is one of the best ways to create an inviting kitchen atmosphere, which is why Minda chose to go with Cove and Sub-Zero appliances! Both of her picks serve very different functions geared toward the same goal. Behind a custom cabinet panel, the Cove dishwasher operates at a virtually silent 41 dBA, so guests can have a conversation without having to speak over a noisy cycle. Meanwhile, the Sub-Zero refrigerator is adorned with mirror cabinet panels that bounce natural light around the room, invigorating the space with a bright, high-energy feel.
