1. The InstaView™ Door-in-Door ® Design Reduces Cold Air Loss

Refrigerators are more energy-efficient than ever. However, that rating doesn’t account for human behavior. How many times have you felt cold air escape your refrigerator as you contemplated late-night snack options?

The InstaView™concept was innovated by LG a few years ago. Simply knock twice and see what’s inside your refrigerator without opening the door. With two quick knocks, the refrigerator lights ramp up illuminating the interior.

The Door-in-Door® concept makes it easy to access your go-to beverages and snacks. The Door-in-Door ® design makes it easy to access items stored on the refrigerator door shelves, without having to open the entire refrigerator door.

How does the Door-in-Door ® work? Behind the refrigerator handle, there’s a small button. Hold down the button and only the front panel of the refrigerator door will open. When you’re done, simply close the refrigerator and you should be able to feel the door latch back together. To access the refrigerator interior, simply open the refrigerator door as you would with any other model.

2. The Linear Compressor, Smart Cooling Plus™ System, and DoorCooling+™ Features Keep Food Fresher for Longer

The CraftIce maker automatically makes three 2-inch ice spheres per day. The freezer can hold up to 25 ice spheres in the included ice bin.
